In 2003 she began her professional career as part of the CO2-Solutions team, where she coordinated the Environmental Consultation Line. She also coordinated the meetings of the Environment Commission of the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid and CEOE.

In 2004 she joined the R & D team at Itsemap Servicios Tecnológicos Mapfre, where she developed a methodology for the Evaluation of Environmental Risks in industry.

In November 2004 she joined the Garrigues Environment team. There she actively collaborated in the development of an Environmental Costs Guide for Repsol YPF. She has designed, implemented and maintained many environmental management systems; has developed and delivered several training courses on multiple topics such as environmental management, social responsibility and sustainability, sustainable tourism, etc. And has experience in performing environmental audits and reviews. She has also carried out EAE, Incidence and Environmental Impact Studies, benchmarking and feasibility studies, etc. She has collaborated in several research projects, such as the Directory of Sustainable Tourism Initiatives for the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce. She publishes several articles in the media and specializes in sustainable strategic management (Iberia, Acciona Trasmediterránea, Metro de Madrid, etc.). She participated in the development of the Sustainable Construction Manual 360º Adif Station.

Delia emphasizes her experience in the field of CSR and organization of sustainable events. She was part of the Permanent Technical Assistance of the Secretariat of the Network of Environmental Authorities of MARM and coordinated the Environment Awards. She created and directed the Department of CSR in SanLucar Fruit, S.L. For 5 years and currently coordinates the CSR team at El Corte Inglés and chairs the FTA’s National Sustainability Contact Group.
