Stephen joined Brompton in November 2014 to head up sales and marketing as the business embarks on its next exciting phase of growth. Stephen has worked closely in defining and implementing Brompton’s new global brand strategy which focuses around 3 key messages; Made For Cities, Made For You, Made In London.
Previously he held senior marketing and innovation roles within the international drinks industry.
Brompton designs, manufactures, markets and distributes folding bikes. 80% are sold overseas to 44 countries and all are made in London. Over 1200 parts go into making each of the 44,000 Brompton’s sold annually; of which 75% of the parts are designed in house. Brompton has been working towards perfecting its folding bike for over 40years and continues to do so with the full efforts of its entire staff.
