Timo Schmidt-Eisenhart is the President of Timberland EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). As President, Timo is responsible for the entire business across EMEA.
In 2012, Timo began his career at Timberland when he was appointed Vice President and General Manager for Timberland Europe. There, he lead the integration of the brand into the VF Portfolio, secured a smooth relocation to Stabio, Switzerland and managed the return to growth of the business.
Having demonstrated strong business leadership skills at Timberland, Timo was promoted to President of Timberland EMEA in June 2013, following Richard O’Rourke’s retirement.
Prior to his time at Timberland, Timo started his career at sports lifestyle brand, Nike, where he spent eight years working in various senior product and commercial roles.
Moving on from Nike in 2007, Timo joined the outdoor brand, The North Face. He was first hired as the company’s European Sales Director and then progressed to VP/General Manager for Europe, a role in which he was directly responsible for driving brand and commercial growth across multiple European markets.
His past experience in the leadership of two internationally successful brands, coupled with the fact that he has lived and worked in more than six countries in the region, is an asset to Timberland and to the delivery of the company’s long term strategy to become the biggest, most sustainable outdoor lifestyle brand.
