President for Spain and Portugal
Helena is now President and CEO of HP for Spain and Portugal. She joined HP in 1982 being vice president since 2002. In 2012 she was appointed President and CEO of Hewlett Packard for Spain and Portugal.
Helena is a member of the administration board of Naturgy and chairs the I+E Innovación Spain Foundation. Patron of the Cotec Foundation for Innovation and of the Princess of Girona Foundation. She is a spoke person of the Chamber of Commerce of Spain and member of both the Rector Council of APD and of the Business Action Council of CEOE.
Vice President of AmCham, member of the Board of the American Business Council and of the US-Spain Council Foundation. Also part of the Steering Committee of the Executive Committee of IESE, the Board of Junior Achievement and is part of the Governing Council and of the Monitoring Committee of the Atlantic-Cooper Chair of Metal Mining and Metallurgy and the Board of Netmentora Madrid .
She has been named “Personality of the Year” by the magazine Byte, “Executive woman of the Year 2013” by both the Ejecutivos magazine as FEDEPE, “Directive Woman 2015” by the Madrid Woman’s Week Foundation and Professionalism Award by the Association of companies and professionals in Valencia (EVAP).
Helena was born in Madrid, she is married and the mother of two children. She has a degree in Chemistry and has postgraduate studies in Management from INSEAD and IESE.
