Alejandro Tostado

Sustainability & Government affairs lead Europe, CHEP

Alejandro has worked for more than two decades in one of the most sustainable companies in the world: CHEP. It is an intrinsically circular business model, which is born in the concepts of Share and Reuse, and achieves substantial savings in natural resource use, waste generation and greenhouse gas emissions.

Alejandro has a long track record in the commercial area where he has managed FMCG Key Accounts, integrating Sustainability and Regeneration as fundamental parts of CHEP’s value proposition. Two years ago Alejandro took on the role of Head of Sustainability and Government Affairs in Europe to design the area’s long-term strategy.

Alejandro holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, an MBA from the Fundación Santillana and a Business Sustainability Management course from Cambridge University.

Alejandro is passionate about rugby and one of his favorite quotes is: “Public and private entities must come together in a great Scrum, cohesive and firm, to combat all the challenges facing our planet”.
