Julián Villanueva

Director of the Marketing Department and Professor at IESE Business School

 

Julián Villanueva is Director of the Marketing Department and also Professor at IESE Business School. He holds a PhD in Management (Marketing) from UCLA and MBA
from IESE.

He is an expert in digital transformation, customer management and sales forces. His research work focused on econometric models and have been published in the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing and Quantitative Marketing and Economics, among others. Prof. Villanueva is also the author of several books and more than 50 cases and technical notes. Two of his cases have been included in the prestigious Harvard Business School Premier Case Collection. In 2006 he received an award for the best research work based on a doctoral thesis from the European Marketing Academy and in 2012 the Emerald Citations of Excellence Award.

He carried out numerous consulting projects on business strategy and digital
transformation. He is also a member of the Board of Directors and Advisory Council of several companies.
