Mané joined the fleet department of Grupo Calvo in 1995, being responsible for the purchase of “Montesol”, “Montelaura” and “Montecruz” vessels and for the coordination of supplies to tuna vessels.
In 1997 he became Fleet Director of the Group, a position in which he remained until 2002 when he assumed the position of Director of Operations for America, first in El Salvador, and later in Brazil.
In 2007, he was appointed CEO of Grupo Calvo, taking care of all the businesses and operations of the food group in the world.
Mané is currently a member of the Executive Committee of ANFACO-CECOPESCA, the national organization that represents the industrial sector linked to the fishing industry, and patron of the ALIMENTUN Foundation.
For 3 years and until December 2017 he was president of the Spanish Federation of Food and Beverage Industries (FIAB). He has also served as secretary of the Spanish Official Chamber of Commerce and Industry of El Salvador, president of OPAGAC (National Association of Freezer Tuna Ship Owners) and WTPO (World Tuna Purse Seine Organization).
